Jones Prairie Sand Creek Camp Meeting

We will be focused on God’s Creation!

The 2024 Camp Meeting will be from March 20th through the 24th
Meeting at the Jones Prairie Meeting House in Jones Prairie Texas.  
There will be a planned excursion for a time of learning about Creation.   Preaching and Fellowship, with preachers called from the floor.  There will be an opportunity for games and nature hikes as well between services.  Meals are provided each day.

Creation Trail

Our Creation Trail is a beautiful way to enjoy GOD’s creation. 

 

You can walk through the different days that the  LORD made all of creation and enjoy the serene trails and wildlife. 

 

 

We have 4 large walk-in tent sites and one RV hook-up site for anyone who would like to stay at the Creation Trail. 

 

An outdoor shower and bathroom are provided for our camp visitors as well as a bathroom/shower for use in the meeting house. 

 

You can reserve one of the tents that we have available, or you are welcome to bring your own. Portable Campsite shower and camping privacy toilets are also available to use at your tent site upon reservation. 

 

Each campsite has space for multiple tents, pond access, and a fire pit for those evening campfires.

You are welcome to bring camping tables, and chairs and hang hammocks at any of the campsites. 

 

Hiking the creation trail is a fun outdoor adventure but we do request that children be accompanied by an adult. This is a native wildlife area and we must be careful with any critters we come upon. 

 

We also allow boating but require life jackets on all children while in the boats with parental supervision. 

 

We ask families that want to attend the meeting to register on the website, so we will know how much food to fix for the meals. 

 

Indoor lodging is available at a lodge nearby for $50 a night, as well as hotel options in Hearne and Cameron (20 min drive) There are 4 rooms available at the lodge, twin and full beds.  Lodging will be provided for those in full-time ministry if needed.

 

Walk-in campsites are free to use. If you don’t have a tent, we have several you could borrow.
